Once again, thank you for visiting, and enjoy finding out about the fabulous life of Kenya C.C. Bullock. Enjoy!

Dear Internship Coordinator,

This letter is to express my interest in the summer sales/ marketing internship which is being offered by your company. As a Business Major both in high school as well as college, I feel that my background and skills are perfect for the position.

I will graduate in spring 2011 from The College of New Jersey with a B.S. in Business Marketing with an emphasis in Professional Sales and a minor in Communications. The classes that I have completed thus far in this rigorous program have afforded me many opportunities to learn different aspects of business and community relations, public relations, and the true definition of “leadership.” Based on my extensive previous leadership positions held, I have developed strong skills such as public speaking, debating, writing, management strategies, and business ethics.

My background in Business, along with my genuine enthusiasm and strong work ethics makes me an ideal candidate for your internship program. I have attached my resume which highlights my experiences and accomplishments thus far. I am confident that can bring an enthusiastic and fresh perspective to your company!

Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you to further discuss my qualifications.

Sincerely,

Kenya Bullock

All of my accomplishments and honors attest to my confidence and strong work ethic showing I’m taking all the right steps “preparing for a better tomorrow.”

One thing about me is I strive to make a difference and stand out. You see, I come from Camden, NJ a city that is looked down upon from the high violence and high-school drop out rates. Many people sometimes let past bad experiences or hardships deter them from success. They take failures and disappointments and wear it as a badge, instead of putting a shield over it and accomplishing what others may think that they can not. Being confidante within yourself allows you to set goals far and beyond what is expected of you. No one is in control of my destiny but me, and it’s my job as a strong, black, young and educated woman to set a prime example to show many that if you do come from the quote on quote “ghetto” that is not a hindrance that is preventing me from making my dreams come true. It just something that is going to make it even more special and worthwhile when (key word WHEN) you make it to the top.
Here is some of my written work and presentations. Please, Take a look!

As a Facilitator in the Leadership Development Program here at TCNJ, I facilitate numerous workshop to different organizations and clubs on campus. We present on a wide variety of leadership skills which include: Resumes, Dress for Success, Team Chemistry Building….etc. Here is an example of the workshop: Finding Comfort outside Your Comfort Zone

Thank you once again for visiting my blog. I hope you enjoyed it and learned a couple of new things about me. I designed my blog to inform the viewer of my accomplishments and dreams that I hope to accomplish. I hope I succeed in doing just that.

Take Care,
